Sentinus manage and deliver a range of workshops and project-based learning programmes across community groups and schools. These workshops form part of STEM summer camps, digital skills academies and wider impact research and development programmes.

Sentinus have a long-standing relationship with Newry, Mourne and Down District Council delivering STEM & Digital Skill camps during school term times to keep the wider community engaged. More recently we have delivered our Digital Makers programme to post primary schools in the area, targeting Year 13 students to develop a digital product to pitch in front of local companies and industry representatives.

Sentinus are delighted to partner with the RVRA to deliver STEM and digital skills workshops as part of their Curiosity Club each week. Local children get the opportunity to work together tackling Science and Engineering challenges and learning all things Digital Technology. The aim is to inspire the involved children in the STEM subjects with practical activities to help develop skills and have fun.

The Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council Multiply Programme, funded by the Department for the Economy (DfE), successfully concluded on 31st March 2025. The programme fully utilized its allocated £300K funding and exceeded its participation target by engaging over 500 residents across the borough.
This outstanding achievement was made possible through a strategic partnership with Sentinus, whose expertise and commitment played a pivotal role in delivering high-quality numeracy education. Sentinus led the delivery of seven out of the nine tailored initiatives over a 3-month period, ensuring that the programme effectively addressed the diverse needs of the community.

The Mid Ulster Creative Digital Learning programme is a comprehensive initiative designed and delivered by Sentinus aimed at enhancing the digital skills and creativity of primary school students in the Mid Ulster area. The programme engages 50 primary schools each year in a digital creative learning experience, focusing on the development of digital skills in a fun and interactive way. It aims to build confidence in the creative use of digital technologies in the classroom and provides a foundation for teachers and pupils to develop their digital skills.

Sentinus are delighted to partner with the Eastside Learning team each year to deliver a weeklong STEM summer programme consisting of engaging STEM activities for all. Local children get the opportunity to work together tackling Science and Engineering challenges and learning all things Technology and Math. The week concludes with a visit to the Engineering faculty at Ulster University where staff engage and inspire the young children to become University students in the future.
