This workshop introduces pupils to the world of coding and digital creativity using the BBC micro:bit. Through a series of interactive activities, pupils will learn how to write simple programs, use sensors, and design projects that link to real-world STEM applications.

The workshop emphasises hands-on learning, where pupils code, test, and debug in teams. By the end of the session, they will have gained experience in science (forces, sensors, measurement), technology (programming, digital systems), engineering (designing and improving solutions), and maths (logic, probability, coordinates), while also developing teamwork, problem-solving, and resilience.
