Sustainable Communities Challenge asks Key Stage 3 students to consider what our towns and cities of the future may look like and how they might become more sustainable in the future.

Over a period of weeks, with support from an undergraduate mentor, they investigate the production of renewable energy, water use and conservation, waste and recycling, sustainable transport and incorporation of green spaces and amenities for citizens.

To allow teams of students to design and build their city of the future, Sentinus provides a mat on which they can build their critical infrastructure and green spaces.
